The IntelliTec Dental Assistant school program is one of the few dental assisting training programs in the state that is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, which ensures the highest curriculum and instructional standards.

You get the opportunity to perform various dental assisting tasks, such as exposing and developing dental radiographs, taking impressions, pouring and trimming models, instrument and procedural set-ups, patient management, and equipment sterilization and disinfection.

Your Dental Assistant training program includes a 300-hour internship, providing you the opportunity to practice your skills in a real-world setting in the Colorado Springs area.

You graduate with a professional Dental Assistant certificate and are eligible to immediately sit for the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and become Certified Dental Assistants (CDA). This certification is recognized nationwide. As a graduate, you are also certified by the State of Colorado in Dental Radiology and obtain a certification in CPR.

Building on existing knowledge obtained through dental technician school and work experience, the Expanded Duty Dental Assistant program gains you the skills necessary to perform restorative procedures under a dentist’s supervision.
